Creg Tech Cruise Control Front Brake Switch Conversion Kit

This front brake switch conversion kit is designed for Yamaha motorcycles equipped with cruise control.

On compatible Yamaha models, the original front brake master cylinder uses a complex switch system that controls both the brake light and cruise control cancellation functions. This can make replacing the OEM brake master cylinder with an aftermarket unit difficult.

The Creg Tech CT001C conversion kit allows the original switch system to be replaced with a commonly available two-wire brake switch, making it easier to install aftermarket brake master cylinders while retaining the required brake light and cruise control cancellation functions.

The kit connects to the motorcycle’s main wiring harness using the dedicated connector. The brake master cylinder switch is then connected using suitable terminals or connectors.

Installation Notes

The conversion kit connects to the motorcycle-side wiring harness using the dedicated connector.

The brake master cylinder-side switch must be connected using suitable bullet terminals, connectors, or equivalent electrical connections.

Depending on the motorcycle, brake master cylinder, and switch combination, wiring or connector modification may be required.

Some aftermarket mechanical switches may not activate early enough to operate the brake light or cancel cruise control correctly. A compatible hydraulic pressure switch may be required depending on the master cylinder being used.

Installation should be carried out by a qualified motorcycle technician. After installation, confirm correct operation of the brake light and cruise control cancellation system before riding.

Important Notice

This product is intended to assist with the installation of an aftermarket front brake master cylinder. The brake master cylinder and brake switch are not included.

Incorrect installation or switch adjustment may prevent the brake light or cruise control cancellation system from operating correctly.
